How to Care for Fabric Upholstered Furniture

Dust your Upholstered Furniture Regularly

Dusting is a great way to keep your furniture clean and looking great, and is also helpful in maintaining the life of the fabric itself. Use a vacuum with an appropriate hand held attachment to clean your furniture on a regular basis. Lift the cushions (if they’re removable), and get the stuff that wriggles down between the cushions. Some vacuums come with special upholstery hand attachments for cleaning. However, if using an attachment with bristles or a brush, be sure it doesn’t snag or scratch the fabric before vacuuming your furniture.

Know how to handle Spills and Stains

  1. Dry, wipe or mop up the spill with a dry, clean white cloth or towel. Avoid rubbing as much as possible.
  2. Let the area dry to see if the stain is removed. If the stain persists, you can repeat step 1 again.
  3. Difficult stains may require more aggressive treatment.

Purchases

When purchasing items from room-no9.com, you will be asked to provide information – including your full name, location and billing addresses, phone number, and credit card information. You agree that any such information provided must be accurate, complete and current.

When you place an order, room no.9 design studio will send you a confirmation email with the details of your order.

room no.9 design studio will notify you as soon as possible regarding the availability of the products you have ordered and its delivery time.

If the product is out of stock; your furniture order might take 6-8 weeks, and 14 working days for home accessories or tables (excluding weekends & official holidays) to be delivered.

A down payment will be needed to proceed for furniture orders,, it is 60% of the total amount. However, payments will not be processed until availability of the products you ordered have been confirmed and your order has been accepted. 20% payment (mid-period) is required and 20% payment (final period) is required

Returns & Exchange

Please note that our products are a handmade products using traditional handcrafting techniques and skills, variations may therefore occur.

Returns

You have 48 hours to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within a certain amount of days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Manufacturing defect policy

If you receive a damaged or defective item you have 48h to claim the damage. Failing to do so will waive your right for a replacement.
In order to submit a claim please follow the below instructions:
1) Take a picture of the item which clearly displays the damage and send it by email to cs@room-no9.com stating your order number and your phone number in case we need to call you for additional information.
2) Once your email is received and the claim is approved we shall request a replacement of the product and shall send you all the details by email.

Shipping

The shipping charges for your order are automatically calculated on checkout. The shipping cost is usually calculated based on a number of factors including the shipping method, the volumetric weight of the items purchased and the destination of the package.

Please note that orders placed on Thursday (after 12:00 pm CLT), Friday and Saturday will be processed on Sunday morning.

The courier service will call you to confirm the date and time of delivery. And once you receive your order you will have to sign a receipt confirming you received it. We request a 48 hours notice if the client wants to reschedule or cancel delivery order.

Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.
